EXPERIENCE A NORTH MASS FITNESS CLASS

THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE YOU MOVE

Our talented instructors will cheer you on through one more rep, convince you to hold that crunch a few seconds longer, and occasionally make you question your life choices – in the best way possible.

Common questions, answered.

Everything you need to know before walking onto our fitness floor for the first time.

Yes — fitness classes and the strength floor are both included with a North Mass membership. Day passes and 10-visit cards work too. Drop in any time we’re open.

We design our classes so they can be taken by a class regular or someone brand new to fitness. There are always modifications or beginner level options in all classes.

North Mass members get unlimited first time guests with their membership. Your friend is also always welcome to purchase a day pass.

Strength classes focus on slow moves that lift heavier weight – strengthening your muscles. Conditioning focuses on improving your heart and lung function.

We encourage your to sign up for classes before you attend, as there is always a chance class will be full, but you are always welcome to pop into class. If you are unable to attend a class, please cancel the reservation to open a space to another member.

We have classes built to increase endurance, mobility, strength, and flexibility – all very important to the mechanics of climbing. Take a day off from the walls and join a class.

Our strength training floor may look intimidating, but is designed for the new lifter to the seasoned vet. Start slow and choose the weight you are most comfortable with.
